Who is IAS Vishakha Yadav?

Vishakha Yadav was born in 1994 (Age 29 years; as, of 2023). She grew up in West Delhi where she did her schooling. Later, she attended Delhi College of Engineering where she studied software engineering and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Software Engineering in 2014. Thereafter, Vishakha took up a job as a software developer in a firm, Cisco Systems, in Bangalore where she worked for almost 2.5 years. Later, she quit her highly-paid job in 2017 to prepare for the UPSC exams.

Vishakaha Yadav belongs to the Yadav family of West Delhi. Her father, Rajkumar Yadav, is an Assistant Sub-Inspector at Delhi Police in Dwarka. Her mother, Sarita Yadav, is a homemaker.

IAS Vishakha Yadav completed her schooling in Delhi, she did her graduation in Engineering at Delhi Technological University (DTU). Later, for two years she also had done the work at Cisco, in Bangalore. After that, she started her preparation for the USC CSE examination. For Vishakha Yadav IAS, her mother was building her motivation, she says that her mother has always been there for her. Her mother always inspired her, and she has given the credit for her success to her mother. During her school time, Vishakha also participated in sports as a part of the Basketball team.

Vishakha Yadav IAS Preparation Strategy

IAS Vishakha joined coaching after returning to Delhi from Bengaluru to prepare for the exams. She also mentioned that it was a must for her to join coaching because she was belonging to a technical background, and this was a complete change of stream for her.

Vishakha says that it is most important to keep in mind to plan a strategy for preparing for the UPSC exam and stick to it till the very end.

She also mentioned that one should set small targets rather than studying endlessly for hours, it is proved to be useful. This strategy helped in the improvement of her concentration and also helped in the management of time.
